ForceKota processes equipment connection details, motor status and diagnostic information to connect compatible devices.

With permission, precise iPhone location, timing and equipment status are recorded during confirmed Spot-Lock sessions, including in the background while connected.

Backup and use

Optional backup sends location records, associated content and equipment data to our service. Records are linked to a private backup identifier and used for backup, recovery, support and analytics. Authorised administrators can access them. Backups are private, not end-to-end encrypted.

Cloudflare and GitHub provide storage and may process data overseas. Service logs may include IP addresses, identifiers and errors. Apple handles subscription payments; we do not receive payment card details. Data is not sold or used for advertising tracking.

Retention and privacy requests

Backup records and earlier versions are retained for recovery and analytics until erasure is requested, subject to legal and security requirements. In-app deletion may leave retained server records and historical copies.
